Organized on 3 floors with 2 at grade entrances the new facility for Triangle Orthopedics allows up to 6 doctors to see patients at one time while providing space for Physical Therapy, Administrative Offices, and future Outpatient Surgery.
This 68,000 square foot building features a brick and stone masonry exterior with energy efficient windows. The sloping site, normally a problem for Orthopedic practices was turned into an advantage by allowing the creation of at-grade entrances on two levels. The lower level provides access to the Physical Therapy service and future Outpatient Surgery. The Second level entrance serves the Clinical Floor.
The 42 exam rooms and 7 cast rooms are organized into 7 modules that each serve a doctor and a PA. The Clinical floor provides an efficient environment for the doctors and staff while keeping patient travel distances to a minimum. Imaging is provided by 4 X-Ray rooms. Strategically placed sub-waiting areas allows the staff to move patients to and from imaging without disrupting the doctors patient flow.
