The Women's Clinic
In 1996, The Women’s Clinic was a 6 physician practice planning to grow to 8 physicians later in the year. At that point they would have outgrown their existing facility. Medical Design International was engaged to analyze the practice to determine how new operational systems could be put into place in a new facility to allow the physicians to be more efficient and productive, and project the size of the new facility needed.
After analyzing the practice through our Medical Facility Planning Analysis (MFPA) service it was determined the new facility would need to allow 5 physicians to be in at once seeing patients plus space for OB and GYN procedures, as well as space for diagnostics and administration. A detailed Space Program was developed that determined The Women’s Clinic’s new facility required 15,000 square feet of space.
Following a site location and evaluation process Medical Design International provided architectural and construction administration services for the new facility.
