Medical Specialty Clinic
In 1992, Medical Specialty Clinic contacted Medical Design International to design their new facility. The practice had 6 physicians at that time, was looking to grow to 12 more and knew that their current facility did not have the appropriate space.
While performing our Medical Facility Planning Analysis for the practice, Medical Design International researched the code requirements for their area. As the country was beginning to realize the need for “green space” we had to help the practice incorporate the required “green space” into their planning of the 24,000 square foot facility.
In 1998, Medical Specialty Clinic again called on Medical Design International due to experiencing tremendous growth through productivity enhancement of a correctly designed space. The practice wanted to expand their clinical areas and to add a nuclear camera area. The addition and renovation of 21,200 square feet brought the building to a total 45,200 square feet.
