Medical Associates of Davie for Forsyth Memorial Hospital

Over a 5 year period, we worked with this hospital system to help them implement their physician practice plan. During that time we have defined the productive needs of the physicians at each site, done the facility space programming and quantified the theoretical annual patient visit capacity of each building project. MDI then did the design of each building, both from a medical space planning and architectural point of view. Medical Design International was the architect of record on all the projects and saw each project through to occupancy.
Developed as a prototypical facility. Utilizing heavy timber construction in the public areas and stone and brick for the exterior, the architecture of the primary care centers is crafted to reflect the architecture of the region.
The architecture is successfully translated from one site to another, creating a recognizable image for the network.
MDI performed programming, planning, site planning, space planning, architecture, and engineering services. To date we have completed 20 building projects for this client. The size of the facilities range from 3,600 square feet to over 33,000 square feet, and totaling over 300,000 square feet. The aggregate construction cost of all the projects exceeds $30 million.
