Newton Family Physicians
When Medical Design International first met Newton Family Physicians it was a 5 physician practice experiencing issues that come with growth; lack of space and operational systems stressed, equating to less than optimal practice conditions. The practice had plans to grow even further, upwards of 8 physicians plus in-house minor procedures and lab services.
Medical Design International analyzed the practice following our Medical Facility Planning Analysis process to make recommendations as to how the practice should proceed to accomplish its goals. Operational and facility concepts were developed to support 6 physicians in at once seeing patients and a detailed space program was develop to determine the facility would need 13,500 square feet. Options of expanding the existing facility, renovating an empty warehouse type building, and a new facility from ground up were evaluated and the decision was to build new. Medical Design International designed the 13,500 square foot building the practice now occupies.
